Grilled BBQ Salmon has a rich history rooted in the Pacific Northwest, where the abundance of fresh salmon inspired chefs to create this iconic dish. Renowned for its succulent, flaky texture and smoky, sweet flavor, this dish has become a staple in coastal regions. Chefs like Tom Douglas in Seattle and Vitaly Paley in Portland have elevated the art of grilling salmon, infusing it with their unique BBQ sauces and techniques. The key to perfecting this dish lies in the quality of the salmon and the balance of flavors in the BBQ marinade. Today, the best versions of this dish can be savored in waterfront restaurants along the West Coast.
