Mexican

The gordita, a traditional Mexican dish, has a rich history dating back to pre-Columbian times. This thick, savory pastry is made from masa dough and is typically stuffed with a variety of delicious fillings such as meats, cheese, and beans. The dish originated in the central regions of Mexico and has since become a beloved staple in Mexican cuisine. Today, the best gorditas can be found in local taquerias and street food stalls throughout Mexico, particularly in regions like Guanajuato and Hidalgo. The key to a perfect gordita lies in the quality of the masa dough and the flavorful fillings, making it a must-try for any food enthusiast.
