Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tablespoons honey, 2 tablespoons rice vinegar, 1 tablespoon grated fresh ginger, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 tablespoon sesame oil, and 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes.
  • Place the salmon fillets in a shallow dish and pour the marinade over the top. Turn the fillets to coat them evenly. Cover and refrigerate for at least 30 minutes, or up to 2 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat. Oil the grates to prevent sticking.
  • Remove the salmon from the marinade and place on the grill, skin-side down. Discard the remaining marinade.
  • Grill the salmon for 4-5 minutes per side, or until the fish flakes easily with a fork.
  • Transfer the grilled salmon to a serving platter and sprinkle with sliced green onions and sesame seeds.
