Instructions

  • Add the shrimp to the skillet and sprinkle with paprika, red pepper flakes, salt, and pepper. Cook for 2-3 minutes on each side until the shrimp is pink and opaque. Remove the shrimp from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter. Add the rice and stir to coat the rice in the butter. Cook for 1-2 minutes until the rice is lightly toasted.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a boil. Reduce the heat to low, cover, and simmer for 15-20 minutes until the rice is tender and the liquid is absorbed.
  • Return the cooked shrimp to the skillet and toss to combine with the rice. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes to heat the shrimp through.
