Instructions

  • Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil. Add the orzo and cook according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
  • Pat the scallops dry with paper towels and season with salt and pepper.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat. Add the scallops and sear for 2-3 minutes on each side until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the scallops from the skillet and set aside.
