Instructions

  • In a shallow dish, mix 1/2 cup of flour, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Coat each chicken breast in the seasoned flour mixture, shaking off any excess.
  • In a large skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium-high heat.
  • Add the coated chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, melt the remaining 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add the minced garlic and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring constantly.
  • Pour in 1/2 cup of chicken broth and bring to a simmer, scraping up any browned bits from the bottom of the skillet.
  • Return the cooked chicken to the skillet and simmer for an additional 2-3 minutes, allowing the chicken to absorb the flavors of the garlic butter sauce.
  • Sprinkle with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
