Instructions

  • Bring a pot of water to a boil.
  • Add 2 cups of frozen edamame to the boiling water and cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Drain the edamame and run under cold water to stop the cooking process.
  • In a bowl, toss the cooked edamame with 1 tablespoon of olive oil, 1 teaspoon of sea salt, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper until well coated.
  • Transfer the seasoned edamame to a resealable plastic bag and place in the freezer for at least 2 hours, or until completely frozen.
