Ingredients
- 1 cup of dill pickle slices
- 1 cup of all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon of paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of buttermilk
- 1 egg
- 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce
- 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, combine 1 cup of all-purpose flour, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of cayenne pepper, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- In another shallow dish, whisk together 1 cup of buttermilk, 1 egg, and 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce.
- Dip the dill pickle slices into the flour mixture, then into the buttermilk mixture, and finally into 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs, pressing gently to adhere.
- In a large skillet, heat vegetable oil to 375°F (190°C). Fry the coated pickle slices in batches for 2-3 minutes or until golden brown and crispy. Drain on paper towels.
- In a small bowl, mix 1/4 cup of mayonnaise with 1 tablespoon of sriracha sauce for the dipping sauce.
- Serve the fried pickles hot with the spicy sriracha dipping sauce and enjoy!
