Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 450°F (230°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  • In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • Cut in 1/2 cup of cold, cubed unsalted butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 cup of buttermilk, and 1/2 cup of cooked bacon bits until just combined.
  • Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
  • Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
