Ingredients
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, cold and cubed
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup chopped pickled jalapenos
- 3/4 cup buttermilk
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, whisk together 2 cups of flour, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- Cut in 1/2 cup of cold, cubed unsalted butter using a pastry cutter or fork until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
- Stir in 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of grated parmesan cheese, and 1/2 cup of chopped pickled jalapenos.
- Add 3/4 cup of buttermilk and stir until just combined. Do not overmix.
- Drop spoonfuls of the dough onto the prepared baking sheet, about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the biscuits are golden brown and cooked through.
