- 12 egg roll wrappers
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 1/2 cup marinara sauce
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh basil
- 1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, mix together 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh basil, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.

- Bake for 15-20 minutes, or until golden brown and crispy.
- Serve the Diploma Roll-Ups with marinara sauce for dipping. Enjoy!
Diploma Roll-Ups, a delectable dish with a rich history, originated in Italy. This cheesy delight is a favorite in the Emilia-Romagna region, where skilled chefs meticulously craft it. The dish features thin slices of prosciutto, creamy ricotta, and a generous sprinkle of Parmigiano-Reggiano, all rolled up in lasagna noodles. The roll-ups are then baked to golden perfection, allowing the flavors to meld into a savory symphony. Today, the best versions of this dish can be found in authentic Italian trattorias, where the quality of the ingredients is paramount. The key to perfecting this dish lies in the balance of flavors and the quality of the cheeses. Buon appetito!
