- 2 cups of whole almonds
- 8 ounces of dark chocolate chips
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon

- Place the baking sheet in the refrigerator for about 10 minutes to allow the chocolate to set.

- Enjoy your delicious cinnamon dark chocolate covered almonds as a snack or dessert!
Dark Chocolate Covered Almonds with a sprinkle of cinnamon have a rich history dating back to ancient Mesoamerica, where both chocolate and almonds were cherished ingredients. The Aztecs and Mayans combined these two delicacies, often adding a touch of cinnamon for warmth and depth of flavor. Today, this delectable treat is enjoyed worldwide, with renowned chocolatiers and pastry chefs crafting their own versions. The best rendition can be found in artisanal chocolate shops, where high-quality dark chocolate meets perfectly roasted almonds and a hint of aromatic cinnamon. The key to this indulgent treat lies in the balance of rich chocolate, crunchy almonds, and a subtle touch of spice.
