  • 1 can (28 ounces) crushed tomatoes
  • 1 can (6 ounces) tomato paste
  • 1 can (14 ounces) diced tomatoes
  • 2 teaspoons dried oregano
  • 2 teaspoons dried basil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1/4 teaspoon red pepper flakes
  • 1/4 cup fresh parsley, chopped
  • 1 pound spaghetti
  • 2 cups water
  • 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, cook the ground beef, onion, and garlic over medium heat until the meat is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
  • Stir in the crushed tomatoes, tomato paste, diced tomatoes, oregano, basil, salt, black pepper, and red pepper flakes. Cook for 5 minutes, then remove from heat.
  • Transfer the meat and sauce mixture to the crockpot. Stir in the fresh parsley.
  • Break the spaghetti in half and place it on top of the meat and sauce mixture in the crockpot. Pour the water over the spaghetti, making sure it is fully submerged in the liquid.
  • Cover and cook on low for 4 hours, or until the spaghetti is tender.
  • Stir the spaghetti to combine with the sauce. Serve with grated Parmesan cheese on top. Enjoy!
