Ingredients
- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup hot sauce
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter, melted
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper
- 1/2 tsp paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- Vegetable oil for frying
Instructions
- In a shallow dish, mix together the flour, garlic powder, cayenne pepper, paprika, salt, and black pepper.
- Dip each chicken tender into the flour mixture, then into the beaten eggs, and finally into the panko breadcrumbs, pressing to adhere. Place the coated tenders on a plate.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the hot sauce and melted butter to make the buffalo sauce.
- Heat 2 inches of vegetable oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the chicken tenders in batches and fry for 3-4 minutes per side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Transfer to a paper towel-lined plate to drain.
- In a large bowl, toss the fried chicken tenders with the buffalo sauce until evenly coated.
- Serve the spicy buffalo chicken tenders with ranch or blue cheese dressing and celery sticks. Enjoy!
