- 1 lb chicken tenders
- 1 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
- 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 eggs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon paprika
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- Cooking spray
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425°F (220°C). Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and lightly coat it with cooking spray.
- In a shallow dish, mix together 1 cup of grated parmesan cheese, 1 cup of panko breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper.
- In another shallow dish, place 1/2 cup of all-purpose flour.
- In a third shallow dish, beat 2 eggs.
- Dredge each chicken tender in the flour, then dip it into the beaten eggs, and finally coat it with the parmesan mixture, pressing gently to adhere. Place the coated tenders on the prepared baking sheet.
- Lightly spray the coated chicken tenders with cooking spray to help them crisp up in the oven.
- Bake for 12-15 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through and the coating is golden and crispy.
