Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with salt and pepper.

  • Add the chicken breasts to the skillet and cook for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until golden brown and cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add the minced garlic and sliced mushrooms. Cook for 5 minutes, or until the mushrooms are tender.
  • Pour in the chicken broth and bring to a simmer. Let it cook for 5 minutes, allowing the liquid to reduce slightly.
  • Stir in the heavy cream and dried thyme. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet and let it simmer in the sauce for 5 minutes, or until the sauce has thickened and the chicken is heated through.
  • Garnish with chopped fresh parsley before serving.
