American

The classic cheesesteak, a beloved American sandwich, has a rich history rooted in Philadelphia. Originating in the 1930s, this iconic dish features thinly sliced beef, sautéed onions, and melted cheese, all nestled in a soft hoagie roll. The addition of extra cheese takes this indulgent creation to the next level, elevating its gooey, savory goodness. Pat's King of Steaks and Geno's Steaks in Philadelphia are renowned for their authentic cheesesteaks, with chefs meticulously grilling the beef and expertly melting the cheese to perfection. For the best version of this dish, ensuring the beef is tender and the cheese is generously layered is crucial. Whether it's provolone, American, or Cheez Whiz, the cheese is the star of this delectable sandwich.
