Ingredients
- 24 oz canned clam juice
- 1/4 cup fresh lemon juice
- 1/4 tsp hot sauce
- 1/4 tsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 4 lemon wedges for garnish
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, pour in 24 oz of canned clam juice.
- Add 1/4 cup of fresh lemon juice, 1/4 tsp of hot sauce, 1/4 tsp of Worcestershire sauce, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper to the saucepan.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring the mixture to a gentle simmer, stirring occasionally. Do not boil.
- Once the clam juice is heated through, remove from heat and let it cool for a few minutes.
- Using a fine mesh strainer, strain the clam juice mixture into a pitcher to remove any solids.
- Divide the clam juice into 4 glasses and garnish each with a lemon wedge.
- Serve the clam juice immediately as a refreshing drink or use it as a base for seafood dishes.
