  • In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of flour, 1/2 cup of white sugar, 1 teaspoon of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of baking soda, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 cup of sour cream, 1/2 cup of melted butter, 2 eggs, and 2 teaspoons of vanilla extract.
  • Gradually add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients, mixing until just combined.
  • Spread half of the batter into the prepared pan. Sprinkle half of the cinnamon sugar mixture over the batter. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon sugar mixture.
  • Use a knife to swirl the cinnamon sugar mixture into the batter.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes, or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
  • Allow the coffee cake to cool in the pan for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
  • Slice and serve. Enjoy!
