Ingredients
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 3 tablespoons white sugar
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg

- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons brown sugar
- 1 1/2 teaspoons ground cinnamon
- 1/2 cup cream cheese
- 1/4 cup powdered sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2-3 tablespoons milk
Instructions
- In a large bowl, whisk together 1 1/2 cups of flour, 3 tablespoons of white sugar, 1 tablespoon of baking powder, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt.
- In a separate bowl, mix 1 1/4 cups of milk, 1 egg, 3 tablespoons of melted butter, and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Let the batter rest for 5 minutes.
- In a small bowl, mix 3 tablespoons of brown sugar and 1 1/2 teaspoons of ground cinnamon to create the cinnamon swirl.
- Heat a non-stick skillet over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or cooking spray.
- Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet and immediately swirl a spoonful of the cinnamon mixture on top. Cook until bubbles form on the surface, then flip and cook until golden brown. Repeat with the remaining batter and cinnamon mixture.
