Ingredients
- 1 cup of rolled oats
- 2 cups of water
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder
- 2 tablespoons of peanut butter
- 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 cup of milk (optional)
- 1/4 cup of chopped peanuts (optional)
Instructions
- In a medium saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Stir in 1 cup of rolled oats and reduce heat to low. Cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Add 2 mashed ripe bananas, 2 tablespoons of cocoa powder, 2 tablespoons of peanut butter, 2 tablespoons of honey or maple syrup, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt to the oatmeal. Stir well to combine.
- If desired, add 1/4 cup of milk to achieve desired consistency.
- Divide the chocolate banana peanut butter oatmeal into 2 bowls.
- Top with chopped peanuts if desired.
- Serve hot and enjoy!
