Ingredients
- 12 oz elbow macaroni
- 2 cups shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
- 2 cups cooked and shredded chicken breast
- 1/4 cup unsalted butter
- 1/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 2 1/2 cups whole milk
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375°F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the elbow macaroni according to package instructions. Drain and set aside.
- In a large saucepan, melt the butter over medium heat. Stir in the flour and cook for 1-2 minutes to make a roux.
- Gradually whisk in the milk and continue cooking, stirring constantly, until the sauce thickens and coats the back of a spoon.
