Chicken and Cabbage Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 lb boneless, skinless chicken breast, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp soy sauce
- 1 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp cornstarch
- 1/2 tsp sesame oil
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 4 cups shredded cabbage
- 1 red bell pepper, thinly sliced
- 3 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 green onions, chopped
- 1/4 cup chicken broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix 2 tbsp of soy sauce, 1 tbsp of oyster sauce, 1 tbsp of cornstarch, and 1/2 tsp of sesame oil. Add the sliced chicken and toss to coat. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated chicken and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the chicken from the skillet and set aside.
- In the same skillet, heat the remaining 1 tbsp of vegetable oil. Add the minced garlic and grated ginger, and stir-fry for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Add the shredded cabbage and sliced red bell pepper to the skillet. Stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until the vegetables are tender-crisp.
- Return the cooked chicken to the skillet. Add 1/4 cup of chicken broth and stir-fry for another 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Season with salt and pepper to taste. Sprinkle with chopped green onions before serving.
- Serve the chicken and cabbage stir-fry hot with steamed rice or noodles. Enjoy!
