Ingredients
- 1 lb ground sausage
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup breadcrumbs
- 1/4 cup chopped onion
- 1/4 cup chopped parsley
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 2 sheets of puff pastry, thawed
- 1 egg, beaten
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400°F (200°C).
- In a large bowl, mix together 1 lb of ground sausage, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of breadcrumbs, 1/4 cup of chopped onion, 1/4 cup of chopped parsley, 1 tsp of garlic powder, 1/2 tsp of salt, and 1/4 tsp of black pepper.
- Roll out the puff pastry sheets and cut each sheet into 6 equal squares.
- Place a spoonful of the sausage mixture onto each pastry square, then fold the pastry over the filling and press the edges to seal.
- Place the sausage rolls on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper, brush the tops with beaten egg, and bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown.
- Allow the sausage rolls to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
