Ingredients
- 1 (30 oz) package of frozen shredded hashbrowns
- 1/2 cup of unsalted butter, melted
- 1 (10.75 oz) can of condensed cream of chicken soup
- 1 (8 oz) container of sour cream
- 1 small yellow onion, finely chopped
- 2 cups of shredded cheddar cheese
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1 cup of crushed cornflakes
- 2 tablespoons of unsalted butter, melted
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- In a large bowl, combine the frozen hashbrowns, 1/2 cup of melted butter, cream of chicken soup, sour cream, chopped onion, shredded cheddar cheese, garlic powder, salt, and black pepper.
- Spread the mixture into the prepared baking dish.
- In a small bowl, mix the crushed cornflakes with 2 tablespoons of melted butter. Sprinkle the mixture over the top of the casserole.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 45 minutes, or until the top is golden brown and the casserole is bubbly.
- Allow to cool for 5 minutes before serving. Enjoy!
