Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C). Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
  • In a large bowl, combine 1 1/2 cups of rice and 3 cups of chicken broth. Pour the rice mixture into the prepared baking dish.
  • In a separate bowl, season the chicken pieces with 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of paprika, 1/2 teaspoon of dried thyme, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well to coat the chicken.
  • Place the seasoned chicken pieces on top of the rice in the baking dish.
  • Cover the dish with aluminum foil and bake in the preheated oven for 30 minutes.
  • Remove the foil and sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese and 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese over the chicken and rice. Drizzle 1/2 cup of heavy cream evenly over the cheese.
