Instructions

  • In a large bowl, combine 1 lb of ground chicken, 1/2 cup of bread crumbs, 1/4 cup of grated Parmesan cheese, 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined.
  • Divide the chicken mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
  • Cook the bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, cook the chicken patties for 5-6 minutes on each side, or until fully cooked through.
  • During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and allow it to melt.
  • Toast the hamburger buns in the skillet or on a separate griddle until lightly golden.
  • Assemble the burgers by placing a chicken patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun, followed by a slice of crispy bacon, lettuce, tomato, and condiments of choice.
