Created by: Howcan Team

Ingredients

  • 1 pound of ribeye steak, thinly sliced
  • 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil
  • 1 onion, thinly sliced
  • 1 green bell pepper, thinly sliced
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • 12 egg roll wrappers
  • 1 cup of shredded provolone cheese
  • 1/4 cup of mayonnaise
  • 1 tablespoon of truffle oil
  • 1 teaspoon of lemon juice
  • 1 clove of garlic, minced
  • 1/4 teaspoon of salt
  • 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper

Instructions

  • In a large skillet, heat the vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the thinly sliced ribeye steak and cook until browned. Add the sliced onion and green bell pepper, and cook until the vegetables are soft. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Remove from heat and let it cool slightly.
  • Place an egg roll wrapper on a clean, dry surface. Spoon a portion of the steak and vegetable mixture onto the center of the wrapper. Sprinkle with shredded provolone cheese. Fold the bottom corner over the filling, then fold the sides in, and roll tightly. Use a bit of water to seal the edges. Repeat with the remaining wrappers and filling.
  • In a small bowl, mix together the mayonnaise, truffle oil, lemon juice, minced garlic, salt, and black pepper to make the truffle aioli dipping sauce.
  • In a deep skillet or deep fryer, heat oil to 375°F (190°C). Carefully place the egg rolls in the hot oil and fry until golden brown, about 3-4 minutes. Remove and drain on paper towels.
  • Serve the cheesesteak egg rolls with the truffle aioli dipping sauce on the side. Enjoy!
