Created by: Howcan Team
Ingredients
- 1 1/2 pounds ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
- 12 slider buns
- 12 slices of cheddar cheese
- 2 large onions, thinly sliced
- 2 tablespoons butter
- 2 tablespoons brown sugar
Instructions
- In a large bowl, mix together 1 1/2 pounds of ground beef, 1 teaspoon of salt, 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/2 teaspoon of garlic powder. Form the mixture into 12 small patties.
- Heat a skillet over medium-high heat and cook the patties for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. Place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty during the last minute of cooking to melt.
- In a separate skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter over medium heat. Add 2 large thinly sliced onions and cook, stirring occasionally, for 15-20 minutes or until the onions are soft and golden brown. Sprinkle 2 tablespoons of brown sugar over the onions and continue to cook for an additional 5 minutes, stirring occasionally.
- Assemble the sliders by placing a patty with melted cheese on the bottom half of each slider bun. Top with a spoonful of caramelized onions and cover with the top half of the bun.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
