Ingredients
- 1 box of manicotti shells
- 2 cups of ricotta cheese
- 1 cup of shredded mozzarella cheese
- 1/2 cup of grated Parmesan cheese
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley
- 1 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/2 teaspoon of salt
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 3 cups of marinara sauce
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 375 degrees F. Grease a 9x13 inch baking dish.
- Cook the manicotti shells according to the package instructions. Drain and set aside to cool.
- In a large bowl, combine 2 cups of ricotta cheese, 1 cup of mozzarella cheese, 1/2 cup of Parmesan cheese, 1 egg, 1/4 cup of chopped fresh parsley, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix well.
- Using a spoon or a piping bag, fill each manicotti shell with the cheese mixture and place them in the prepared baking dish.
- Pour the marinara sauce over the filled manicotti shells, covering them completely.
- Cover the baking dish with aluminum foil and bake for 30 minutes.
- Remove the foil and sprinkle the remaining mozzarella cheese on top. Bake for an additional 15 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Allow to cool for a few minutes before serving. Enjoy!
