Ingredients
- 4 large potatoes, cut into fries
- 1/4 cup vegetable oil
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/4 cup chopped green onions
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 425 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a large bowl, toss 4 large potatoes cut into fries with 1/4 cup of vegetable oil, 1 teaspoon of salt, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper until evenly coated.
- Spread the fries in a single layer on the prepared baking sheet. Bake for 20 minutes, flipping halfway through, until golden and crispy.
- Remove the fries from the oven and sprinkle 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese over the top. Return to the oven for 2-3 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and bubbly.
- Remove from the oven and sprinkle 1/4 cup of chopped green onions over the cheese fries.
- Serve immediately and enjoy!
