  • Unroll the thawed puff pastry sheet onto a lightly floured surface. Using a rolling pin, gently roll out the pastry to smooth out any creases.
  • Brush the entire surface of the puff pastry with the beaten egg.
  • Evenly sprinkle the cheese and bacon mixture over the puff pastry.
  • Using a sharp knife, cut the pastry into 12 strips.
  • Twist each strip a few times and place them on the prepared baking sheet, pressing the ends down to secure the twists.
