  • 2 tablespoons of honey
  • 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract
  • 1 cinnamon stick

Instructions

  • In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
  • Add the black tea bags, cinnamon stick, cloves, cardamom pods, and ground ginger to the boiling water. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 5 minutes.
  • Add 1 cup of milk and continue to simmer for an additional 5 minutes.
  • Remove the saucepan from heat and discard the tea bags and whole spices.
  • Stir in 2 tablespoons of honey and 1 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
  • Pour the chai tea into mugs through a fine-mesh strainer to remove any remaining spices.
  • Serve hot and enjoy your vanilla chai tea!
