  • Top the mozzarella with the tomato slices and basil leaves.
  • Drizzle 1 tablespoon of balsamic glaze over each sandwich.
  • Top with the remaining 2 slices of sourdough bread to form sandwiches.
  • Spread 1 tablespoon of butter on the outsides of each sandwich.
  • Heat a skillet over medium heat and place the sandwiches in the skillet.
  • Cook for 3-4 minutes on each side, or until the bread is golden brown and the cheese is melted.
  • Remove from the skillet, slice in half, and serve hot.
