Slow Cooker BBQ Brisket

Ingredients
- 4 pounds beef brisket
- 1 tablespoon brown sugar
- 1 tablespoon paprika
- 1 tablespoon garlic powder
- 1 tablespoon onion powder
- 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 1 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
Instructions
- In a small bowl, mix together 1 tablespoon brown sugar, 1 tablespoon paprika, 1 tablespoon garlic powder, 1 tablespoon onion powder, 1 teaspoon cayenne pepper, 1 teaspoon salt, and 1/2 teaspoon black pepper.
- Rub the spice mixture all over the beef brisket, covering all sides.
- Place the brisket in a slow cooker and pour 1 cup of BBQ sauce and 1/2 cup of beef broth over the top.
- Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the brisket is tender and easily shreds with a fork.
- Once cooked, remove the brisket from the slow cooker and let it rest for 10 minutes before slicing against the grain.
- Serve with additional BBQ sauce if desired. Enjoy!
