American

Brisket has a rich history dating back to the early days of American barbecue. This cut of beef, known for its rich flavor and tender texture, has been a staple in Southern cuisine for generations. Pitmasters in Texas elevated brisket to legendary status, perfecting the art of slow-smoking the meat to mouthwatering perfection. Today, iconic barbecue joints like Franklin Barbecue in Austin and Pecan Lodge in Dallas draw crowds from far and wide with their expertly smoked brisket. The key to a perfect brisket lies in the seasoning and the low-and-slow cooking method, which results in a melt-in-your-mouth experience. Whether it's served sliced, chopped, or in a sandwich, brisket continues to be a beloved dish that brings people together over a shared love for good food.
