Instructions

  • In a bowl, mix 1/2 cup soy sauce, 1/4 cup brown sugar, 2 cloves minced garlic, and 1 tsp grated ginger. Add the thinly sliced beef and marinate for 10 minutes.
  • In a large skillet or wok, heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil over medium-high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 3-4 minutes until cooked through. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, add another 1 tbsp of vegetable oil and stir-fry 4 cups of broccoli florets for 2-3 minutes until tender-crisp.
  • While the broccoli is cooking, steam 2 cups of white rice according to package instructions.
  • Once the broccoli is done, return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour any remaining marinade over the beef and broccoli. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Serve the beef teriyaki and steamed broccoli over the cooked white rice. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Enjoy!
