- 1 pound ground beef

- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon cayenne pepper
- 1/2 cup tomato sauce
- 1/2 cup beef broth
- 1 head iceberg lettuce, leaves separated
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup diced tomatoes
- 1/4 cup diced red onion
- 1/4 cup sour cream
- 1/4 cup chopped fresh cilantro
Instructions
- In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat.
- Add the diced onion and cook until softened, about 3 minutes.
- Add the garlic and cook for an additional 1 minute.
- Add the ground beef to the skillet and cook until browned, breaking it up with a spoon as it cooks.
- Stir in the chili powder, cumin, paprika, oregano, salt, black pepper, and cayenne pepper, and cook for 1 minute.
- Pour in the tomato sauce and beef broth, and simmer for 5 minutes, until the mixture has thickened slightly.
