Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 small onion, diced
- 1 can (15 ounces) refried beans
- 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
- 1/2 cup salsa
- 1 teaspoon chili powder
- 1/2 teaspoon cumin
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 large flour tortillas
Instructions
- In a large skillet, cook 1 pound of ground beef and 1 diced onion over medium heat until the beef is no longer pink. Drain any excess fat.
- Stir in 1 can of refried beans, 1 cup of shredded cheddar cheese, 1/2 cup of salsa, 1 teaspoon of chili powder, 1/2 teaspoon of cumin, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Cook and stir until the mixture is heated through and the cheese is melted.
- Spoon about 1/4 of the beef and bean mixture down the center of each flour tortilla. Fold the sides of the tortilla over the filling, then roll up to enclose the filling.
- Optional: To heat the burritos, place them seam side down in a greased baking dish. Cover with foil and bake at 350°F for 10-15 minutes, or until heated through.
- Serve the beef and bean burritos with additional salsa, sour cream, and guacamole if desired. Enjoy!
