Instructions

  • In a small bowl, mix together 1 cup of BBQ sauce, 1/2 cup of apple cider vinegar, 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1 tablespoon of mustard, 1 tablespoon of Worcestershire sauce, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1 teaspoon of paprika, and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper.
  • Place the pork shoulder in a slow cooker and pour the BBQ sauce mixture over the pork.
  • Cover and cook on low for 8 hours, or until the pork is very tender.
  • Remove the pork from the slow cooker and shred with two forks. Return the shredded pork to the slow cooker and stir to coat with the BBQ sauce.
  • Toast the hamburger buns and spoon the pulled pork onto the bottom half of each bun.
  • Serve the pulled pork sandwiches with coleslaw or pickles, if desired.
