Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1/4 cup BBQ sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 1 teaspoon onion powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1/4 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 hamburger buns
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 4 lettuce leaves
- 4 tomato slices
- 4 red onion slices
Instructions
- Preheat the grill to medium-high heat.
- In a large bowl, combine 1 pound of ground beef, 1/4 cup of BBQ sauce, 1/4 cup of breadcrumbs, 1 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1 teaspoon of onion powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper. Mix until well combined.
- Divide the mixture into 4 equal portions and shape into burger patties.
- Place the burger patties on the preheated grill and cook for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness is reached.
- During the last minute of grilling, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each burger patty and allow it to melt.
- Toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes, until lightly golden brown.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a red onion slice, and a burger patty with melted cheese on each bottom bun. Top with the remaining bun and serve hot.
