  • 1/4 cup of semisweet chocolate chips

Instructions

  • Bake the cake according to the instructions on the box. Let it cool completely.
  • Crumble the cake into fine crumbs in a large bowl.
  • Add 1/2 cup of frosting to the cake crumbs and mix until well combined.
  • Shape the mixture into baseball shapes, about the size of a golf ball, and place them on a wax paper-lined baking sheet.
  • Insert a lollipop stick into each cake ball and freeze for 15 minutes.
  • Melt the white candy melts in the microwave according to the package instructions, adding 1 tablespoon of vegetable oil to thin it out if needed.
  • Dip each cake pop into the melted candy melts, tapping off any excess coating, and place them back on the wax paper to set.
  • Melt the semisweet chocolate chips in the microwave and transfer to a piping bag or zip-top bag with a small corner snipped off.
