Ingredients
- 2 ripe bananas, mashed
- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 2 tablespoons white sugar
- 2 teaspoons baking powder
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 1 1/4 cups milk
- 1 egg
- 1/4 cup chopped walnuts
- 2 tablespoons honey
- Butter or oil for cooking
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the mashed bananas, 1 1/2 cups of flour, 2 tablespoons of sugar, 2 teaspoons of baking powder, 1/2 teaspoon of salt, and 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon.
- In a separate bowl, whisk together 1 1/4 cups of milk and 1 egg. Pour the wet ingredients into the dry ingredients and stir until just combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts.
- Heat a non-stick skillet or griddle over medium heat and lightly grease with butter or oil. Pour 1/4 cup of batter onto the skillet for each pancake.
- Cook until bubbles form on the surface of the pancake, then flip and cook until golden brown on the other side, about 2-3 minutes per side.
- Serve the pancakes hot, drizzled with honey and an extra sprinkle of cinnamon if desired. Enjoy!
