Instructions

  • In a small bowl, whisk together 1/2 cup balsamic vinegar, 1/4 cup honey, 2 cloves minced garlic, 1 teaspoon dried oregano, 1/2 teaspoon salt, and 1/4 teaspoon black pepper to make the balsamic glaze.
  • Place the chicken breasts in a resealable plastic bag and pour half of the balsamic glaze over the chicken. Seal the bag and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 30 minutes, or up to 4 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat and lightly oil the grate.
  • Remove the chicken from the marinade and discard the used marinade.
  • Drizzle 2 tablespoons of olive oil over the chicken breasts and place them on the preheated grill.
  • Grill the chicken for 6-7 minutes on each side, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C), basting with the remaining balsamic glaze during the last few minutes of grilling.
  • Remove the chicken from the grill and let it rest for 5 minutes before serving.
  • Serve the balsamic glazed grilled chicken with your favorite sides and enjoy!
