Ingredients
- 12 jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
- 12 slices of bacon
- 1/4 cup of brown sugar
- 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika
- 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder
- 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper
- 1/4 teaspoon of salt
- Toothpicks
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 400 degrees F. Line a baking sheet with aluminum foil and place a wire rack on top.
- In a small bowl, mix together 1/4 cup of brown sugar, 1/2 teaspoon of smoked paprika, 1/4 teaspoon of garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon of black pepper, and 1/4 teaspoon of salt.
- Wrap each shrimp with a slice of bacon and secure with a toothpick. Dip each bacon-wrapped shrimp into the brown sugar mixture, coating evenly.
- Place the bacon-wrapped shrimp on the wire rack and bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the bacon is crispy and the shrimp is cooked through.
