Bacon and Avocado Juicy Lucy with Gluten-Free Bun

Ingredients
- 1 pound ground beef
- 1 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
- 4 slices of cheddar cheese
- 8 slices of bacon, cooked
- 1 avocado, sliced
- 4 gluten-free burger buns
Instructions
- In a bowl, mix 1 pound of ground beef with 1 teaspoon of salt and 1/2 teaspoon of black pepper. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions.
- Take 2 portions of the ground beef mixture and flatten them into thin patties. Place a slice of cheddar cheese in the center of one patty, then place the other patty on top. Pinch the edges to seal the cheese inside. Repeat with the remaining portions to make 4 stuffed patties.
- Heat a grill or skillet over medium-high heat. Cook the stuffed patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until the desired level of doneness is reached.
- While the patties are cooking, toast the gluten-free burger buns in the oven or on the grill for 2-3 minutes, until lightly golden.
- Assemble the burgers by placing a stuffed patty on the bottom half of each bun. Top with 2 slices of cooked bacon and a few slices of avocado. Place the top half of the bun on top.
- Serve the Bacon and Avocado Juicy Lucy burgers immediately and enjoy!
