  • 8 slices of turkey bacon
  • 4 hamburger buns
  • 1 avocado, sliced
  • 4 eggs

  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese

  • 1/4 cup mayonnaise
  • 1 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 slices of cheddar cheese
  • 4 lettuce leaves
  • 4 tomato slices

Instructions

  • Preheat a grill or grill pan to medium-high heat.
  • In a bowl, mix the ground beef with salt, black pepper, and garlic powder. Form into 4 patties.
  • Cook the turkey bacon in a skillet over medium heat until crispy. Remove and set aside.
  • Grill the burger patties for 4-5 minutes on each side, or until desired doneness. During the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty to melt.
  • While the burgers are cooking, toast the hamburger buns on the grill for 1-2 minutes.
  • In the same skillet used for the bacon, fry the eggs to your liking (sunny-side up or over easy).
  • In a small bowl, mix the mayonnaise and Dijon mustard to create a spread.
  • To assemble the burgers, spread the mayonnaise mixture on the bottom half of each bun. Top with a lettuce leaf, a tomato slice, a burger patty with melted cheese, 2 slices of turkey bacon, avocado slices, and a fried egg. Place the top half of the bun on top.
