Asian Beef and Rice Stir-Fry

Ingredients
- 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup soy sauce
- 2 tbsp oyster sauce
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 1 tbsp sesame oil
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 inch ginger, grated
- 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- 1 red bell pepper, sliced
- 1 cup snap peas
- 4 cups cooked white rice
- 2 green onions, sliced
- 1 tbsp sesame seeds
Instructions
- In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Add the sliced flank steak and marinate for 10 minutes.
- Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
- Add another 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the skillet. Stir-fry the sliced red bell pepper and snap peas for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
- Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour in any remaining marinade. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
- Divide the cooked rice among serving plates and top with the beef and vegetable stir-fry. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
