  • 1 lb flank steak, thinly sliced
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 2 tbsp oyster sauce
  • 1 tbsp brown sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame oil
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 inch ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 1 red bell pepper, sliced
  • 1 cup snap peas
  • 4 cups cooked white rice
  • 2 green onions, sliced
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds

Instructions

  • In a bowl, combine 1/4 cup soy sauce, 2 tbsp oyster sauce, 1 tbsp brown sugar, 1 tbsp sesame oil, minced garlic, grated ginger, and 1/2 tsp red pepper flakes. Add the sliced flank steak and marinate for 10 minutes.
  • Heat 1 tbsp of vegetable oil in a large skillet or wok over high heat. Add the marinated beef and stir-fry for 2-3 minutes until browned. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  • Add another 1 tbsp of vegetable oil to the skillet. Stir-fry the sliced red bell pepper and snap peas for 2-3 minutes until slightly tender.
  • Return the cooked beef to the skillet and pour in any remaining marinade. Stir-fry for an additional 1-2 minutes until everything is heated through.
  • Divide the cooked rice among serving plates and top with the beef and vegetable stir-fry. Garnish with sliced green onions and sesame seeds. Serve hot and enjoy!
