  • 1/4 cup of honey
  • 1 pint of vanilla ice cream

Instructions

  • Preheat the oven to 375°F (190°C).
  • In a food processor, combine 1 1/2 cups of all-purpose flour, 1/2 cup of almond flour, 1/2 cup of granulated sugar, and 1/2 teaspoon of salt. Pulse to mix.
  • Add the cold, cubed unsalted butter to the food processor and pulse until the mixture resembles coarse crumbs.
  • Add 1 large egg and 1/2 teaspoon of almond extract to the mixture and pulse until the dough comes together.
  • Press the dough into a 9-inch tart pan with a removable bottom, making sure to evenly cover the bottom and sides of the pan.
  • Bake the tart crust for 20-25 minutes, or until golden brown. Allow to cool completely.
  • Once the tart crust has cooled, drizzle 1/4 cup of honey over the top of the tart.
  • Serve each slice of the almond tart with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on the side.
