Ingredients
- 2 cups of water
- 2 black tea bags
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 2 tablespoons of honey
- 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom
- 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves
- 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract
- Ice cubes
Instructions
- In a small saucepan, bring 2 cups of water to a boil.
- Remove the saucepan from the heat and add 2 black tea bags. Let steep for 5 minutes.
- Discard the tea bags and stir in 1/2 cup of almond milk, 2 tablespoons of honey, 1 teaspoon of ground cinnamon, 1/2 teaspoon of ground ginger, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cardamom, 1/4 teaspoon of ground cloves, and 1/4 teaspoon of vanilla extract.
- Allow the mixture to cool to room temperature, then refrigerate until chilled.
- Fill two glasses with ice cubes and pour the chilled almond chai tea over the ice.
