Ingredients
- 1 lb of fresh shrimp, deveined and peeled
- 1 cup of lime juice
- 1/2 cup of orange juice
- 2-3 extra spicy chili peppers, thinly sliced
- 1/2 red onion, thinly sliced
- 1 cucumber, thinly sliced
- 1/4 cup of cilantro, chopped
- Salt to taste
- Tostadas or tortilla chips for serving
Instructions
- In a large bowl, combine the fresh shrimp, lime juice, and orange juice. Let it marinate for 10 minutes.
- Add the thinly sliced extra spicy chili peppers, red onion, cucumber, and chopped cilantro to the marinated shrimp. Mix well.
- Season with salt to taste and mix again.
- Serve the extra spicy aguachile with tostadas or tortilla chips.
